THIS IS STILL PENDING TO BE TESTED. ITS PURE THEORY. I WILL UPDATE BASED ON PERFORMANCE ONLINE. This is a pure control deck, looking to stall the game as much as possible till your opponent runs out of gas. Thanks to Lux's ability every spell that cost 5 or more cantrips (draws a card, so it replaces itself). Main strategy is look to win game 1 and reach a point in game 2 that time runs out, giving us the win. - "If you don't have creatures, how are you gonna score points?" Well, this list runs 3 Forge the future which for 2 energy creates a Recruit in base. This is our hit and run (die) strategy. After killing our opponents units we will use this recruits to accrue points. Each Forge the future can also recycle back another forge the future from the trash into the deck and +3 other cards as well, making sure we never run out of steam. Another 2 ways, are 2 copies of "Recruit the vanguard" and 2 copies of "Vanguard Armory". Late game spell/Gear that will non-stop poop out units. - Removal package Thanks to spiritforge set, control has new toys. Bellows Breath, blood money and Wages of pain gives us access to early game removal that we lacked in Origins. We still run Cull the weak and Hidden blade as removals. For late game we run the OG package (Falling comet, Singularity, Blast of power and Vengeance) and have added the power crept version of Blast of power, Drag Under. - BATTLEFIELDS We run Aspirant's Climb that lets us have those extra turns thanks to making it so that we need 9 points to win. New battlefields that I have selected are "Ravenbloom conservatory" and "Forgotten Monument". Ravenbloom is insane thanks to the fact that we run 34 spells so the odds of not hitting a spell is between 12% and 15% depending on what turn and if we've drawn 0 of the 5 gears. "Forgotten Monument" is the best antiaggro/Rush battlefield there is. Making it so that only 1 BF can be conquered before turn 3. A fourth possible option is "Sigil of the storm". But as we run no creatures, many decks wont be playing those pesky removals that cost power so they wont be to limited.
