Vex Champion deck built around Calm/Chaos tempo pressure, board control, and value trading. Legend: Vex, Gloomist Champion: Vex, Mocking Colors/Runes: Calm + Chaos Gameplan: This deck wants to develop early units, protect key pieces, and control combat with disruptive tricks. Wuju Apprentice, Mutated Mouser, Herald of Spring, Allay, and Mosstomper help build the board early while cards like Back Off, Combat Experience, Skyward Strike, Soul Sword, Blast Cone, and Existential Dread let the deck win trades, punish attacks, and swing tempo back in your favor. Midgame, the deck shifts into champion pressure with Vex, Mocking plus additional champion/value threats like Vex, Cheerless, Vex, Apathetic, Nami, Headstrong, Evelynn, Entrancing, Iascylla, Shadow, Megatusk, and Monch. Battlefields: Amateur Recital, Gardens of Becoming, and Ripper's Bay give the deck flexible battlefield support depending on matchup and board state. Strengths: - Strong tempo tools - Good combat interaction - Multiple champion threats - Flexible Calm/Chaos rune base - Can pressure while still playing defensively Weaknesses to tune: - Needs clearer win condition density - May need more consistent card advantage - Needs testing against faster aggressive decks - Battlefield choices may need refining after sample hands Current build goal: A Vex-led Champion deck that wins by slowing the opponent down, forcing awkward combat, and turning small advantages into a controlled midgame finish.
