Ornn The Destroyer! I have played this deck in 10+ games now with an outstanding success rate. How to play: The idea for this deck is to play around your Ornn:Forge God unit. Equipping him with as much gear and safeguards as possible to make him a 20 + Might, deflect 4 (or higher) unkillable monster. Early game: In your opening hand, you are looking for ideally, a plundering poro, some early gear and an additional copy of Ornn forge god. Get an early conquer to utilize battlefield effect (all three in this deck are good.) Use your early turns to get as much gear on the board as possible, conquering/holding is nice but not necessary. Mid Game: By this point you should have a few pieces of gear out (almost all of which you shouldn't of had to pay any cost for) and have enough runes in the pool to be able to play your Ornn (if you have one in hand, play the one from your champion slot instead, we want to keep this concealed for later) When played you can immediately equip one for free thanks to weaponmaster, then you can use your ornn passive to equip another gear (as tempting as it may be to burn gold tokens to equip, i would avoid doing this where possible as they count towards ornns passive, giving him free Might for each one) Svellsongur and Guardian angel should always be your priority items if you have to choose (Svellsongur gives you +2 deflect and an additional +1 might per gear, guardian angel stops you from being toasted by things like hidden blade/cull the weak etc). Late Game: More of the same, continue equipping every gear you can to ornn, he will end up a deflect 8, 20+ might monster, that has multiple lives, in the unlikely event someone manages to kill him (and burns all their runes doing so thanks to deflect) you simply make another ornn (this is where playing the one from your hand as an annoying surprise comes in or if you already had multiple out, which is a good idea as they all get bonus might for the gear out) you simply equip it all to the next Ornn instead, you may also split the gear between Ornns as you see fit. Use things like thousand tale watcher to close out the game as needed, when you get shurelyas requiem, you simply hold for a point, move your Ornn and all units to the other battlefield thanks to ganking, get the conquer and end your turn, rinse and repeat for 2 points a turn until you hit 8 points or you can also choose to turtle if you were somehow ahead in points. Additional Notes: Obviously its not bullet proof, it has its weaknesses, particularly around insta kill cards (Yellow decks in particular are a problem) you can still win these match up's as a lot of the time they have to recycle half their rune pool to kill him once, then have to do it again to kill him a second time after GA and most of the time cant recover with so few runes and by the time they get them back your second Ornn has already set up shop You can also utilize your defy for most of those spells as well to stop them from trigger (still making them pay the deflect costs as well), this is where subbing in wind wall is useful if they are just full of insta kill cards (or the higher cost ones defy cant deal with). The other major issue is Thermo beam (red deck) or any major gear killer, these make this setup incredibly difficult to pull off as they can just wipe your entire gear stack consistently. SideBoard: Sub in the Aspiring engineers if they have lots of gear killers, sub in wind walls if they have a lot of insta kill spells, sub in disarming rake if they have a lot of gears as well (great against dazzling players) unchecked power great against swarm decks like Azir, Viktor or Rek'sai. Battlefield Choices: In a best of three, i would go Ornn's Forge first, if they dont know what they're up against they cant side board in their gear killers, this battlefield allows you to get as much gear out as possible as fast and cheap as possible. I have found the other two to be equally as good in a win or loss in the first match so second and third choice is up to you. I will continue to work on and update this build as i continue to playtest against more decks so stay tuned!
