Sunday Morning Summoner Skirmish - December All Star Sports Cards (Chattanooga, TN) Stats Swiss stage (22 players) 1st game: Win 2-1 vs. Kaisa 2nd game: Win 2-0 vs. Ahri 3rd game: Win 2-0 vs. Kaisa 4th game: Tie (1-0 win for fun) vs. Kaisa 5th game: Tie (0-1 loss for fun) vs. Ahri Quarter-final (8-3 drop out=5 players) Win 2-0 vs. Kaisa (the 3rd game player) (both going second) (The rest of the players started from the semi-final) Semi-final Win 2-0 vs. Ahri (both going second) Final Win 2-1 vs. Master Yi (non-dazzling aurora) (going first win, second loss, first win) 11/19, 12/3 bo1 Nexus night 1st place. (3 win each) Strategies Battlefield: Start: Dreaming Tree (good against any deck, and Ahri players tend to put this battlefield first, so minimize the benefit of going first on Ahri) If you are going first: The Grand Plaza (Opponent will not benefit from this battlefield, and you can occupy the enemy battlefield that would benefitthe opponent) If you are going second: The Candlelit Sanctum (Opponent will most likely not benefit too much from this battlefield, so that you can maximize the benefit going second with a possible "Nocturne" reveal. High roll with "Stacked Deck" & "Nocturne, Horrifying" combo Unless against Ahri or Master Yi, going second for additional rune is better (for the first turn "Wielder of water" or "Find your center" option) Use Yasuo when you have at least "Zhonya" or "Wind wall" & "Defy" available. "Mask of Foresight" is essential to have on base. Don't miss it from "Stacked deck" unless you need a particular card. Make your discard pile big with "Merchant" as much as possible so "Rhasha the Sunderer" can pop out at 1 or 2 cost. Typically final blow has been "Whiteflame protector" + one ready unit or "Rhasa"+ Yasuo legend ability + "Mask of Foresight" = Conquer and additional "Rhasa" on battle battlefield to hold with 12 might. Side deck change vs. Ahri: IN "Wind wall", "Invert Timelines" OUT "En Garde", "Ride the Wind" or "Zhonya" vs. Kaisa: IN "Mistic Reversal", "Wind wall", "Tasty Faefolk"x2 OUT "En Garde", "Ride the Wind", "Mask of Foresight", "Whiteflame Protector" vs. YI: IN "Last Breath" OUT "Wind wall" I have scrimmed with Kaisa and Ahri multiple times and figured out that having two "Wind Wall" makes a difference against "Singularity" and other high-cost spells in their decks. I was unable to go against Sett and Annie in this Skirmish, but from one game against Sett before, take out "wind wall" and put "Tasty Fae." And the MVP of this deck was "Mindsplitter." Discarding key cards like "Thousand Tails Watcher", "Whiteflame Protector", and the last available unit from hand ("Retreat" Red Darius) has been the big game changer. A few different cards that were tried for scrimming Green "Lee Sin" (move with Yasuo's Legend ability and tap for buff) "Recruit" (additional discard pile for "Rhasha" and Revealing "Nocturne") For a cheaper version Whiteflame, Mystic Reversal, and Inverted Timeline were last-minute additional spent before the Skirmish. I made it to first place on Nexus night once without it. "Whiteflame Protector" -> "Last Stand." Two "Zhonya" is a must, but one can be "Fight or Flight." "Mystic Reversal" -> "Wind Wall." "Inverted Timeline" -> "Mindsplitter" 12/8/25 After watching the Regional qualifier, "Revuke" may be a better option than "Fading Memories" for large unit decks (Dazzling Auroa). Will test in the future, but Yasuo is currently on hold.
