Gotta go fast Sideboarding vs Kai'sa - gust, Invert timelines, vayne Annie - gust, vayne Sett - vayne, rebuke or fading memories depending on the build Ahri - gust, vayne, Invert timelines if you think you can outplay defy Master Yi - rebuke, fading memories You can side out falling star and potentially a voidseeker if you are having trouble with deflect or massive units. Side out gust vs aurora decks and decks that play mostly big units like sett. When siding in a vayne you can replace noxus hopeful or even a kai'sa survivor as crazy as that sounds. Do not side out any of your 2 cost units. We need at least 8 to consistently draw them on turn 1. Mulligan Prioritize what you can play in the next 2 turns over everything else. Darius, ride the wind, flash, and fight or flight are powerful cards but they are not worth keeping a bad hand. Battlefields Zaun warrens is a good opener battlefield especially if you are running scrap heap. Zaun warrens helps you filter cards and fuel your vi later on. The arena's greatest is our best battlefield on the play in my opinion. If you win game 1 try to save this battlefield for a potential game 3 where you will be on the play and will have the advantage. If you are versus a very slow deck then you can play it game 2 to try and close it out 2-0. The dreaming tree was very underwhelming in my run. My opponents used it way more than I did and it ended up being more of a hindrance than a boon. If I could go back and change it, I would pick trifarian war camp to make it harder for kai'sa to remove my units or potentially fortified position to make sneaky deck hand harder to challenge. General tips Try to keep vi in your hand if possible to use the combo with ride the wind at 6 points to conquer twice. Playing vi too early can leave her susceptible to falling star/rain/etc. If you are playing against green, always think about how many counterspells they've used and how many runes they have open before risking it all on the combo. Remember that you can always get a spell back from the trash with your champion unit. In fact if you are versus a deck that runs sabotage, it is much safer to send a spell to the trash rather than have it recycled to the bottom of your deck where you will never get it back. Its ok to use high impact spells like fight or flight and ride the wind early on if it denies your opponent a point. Don't be afraid to try and hold points if you have movement spells up. If your opponent is triggered, you are playing correctly. Good luck and have fun fellow dark children.
