battlefields: -aspirant's climb kinda obvious, slows the game down by 1 point. -sigil of the storm also slows it down, since voli's not conquering early. -void gate makes things easy to pick off if they ever go there. basic idea is maxing out removal without slowing down the aurora turn too much. chosen champion is voli 12 to maximize the number of voli 10's in the deck. no mobilize: i just find that ramp 1 isnt significant enough sometimes, and games where u dont draw aurora there really is no benefit to madly rushing 9 runes. we have early plays with the red removal package instead of playing mobilize. snapvine is a concession to fast decks where you sometimes just have to play something on 5 runes. it's still a decent hit from aurora, and volibear legend refunds 1 rune when you play it so it's alright. get excited and stormbringer are amazing tempo plays, possibly 2 runes for 10 dmg, or 0 for 5 dmg. get excited is also good for edge cases when you need to get a unit in trash to avoid burning out infinitely from dazzling. sideboard: sabotage for dazzling mirrors. stormbringer for holding strategies. gentleman still needs testing, theoretically another way to snipe big units, especially the ones hiding in base a lot like yasuo. flurry for viktor, and if you want to pair it with void gate battlefield against other decks. random thoughts: i just really like voli legend, though i feel he's not a top tier deck with the current set 1 pool of cards. my main pet peeve is that other dazzling decks like sett and MF can have a playable 5 cost chosen champion, while voli is stuck with 10 or 12.
