Based on the Magic: The Gathering play style of Tapout Control. "Tapout control is a type of control deck that tends to be much more proactive than the more traditional variations of the archetype. Instead of trying to react to every play the opponent makes, tapout control decks often try to overpower opponents with tons of removal, planeswalkers, and creatures. Tapout control decks have the ability to attrition out aggressive decks but often are able to control the game just long enough to start slamming game-ending spells." Star City Games Brad Nelson September 6, 2013 Bringing this concept to Riftbound was very natural thanks to Victor! Seal of Unity allows you to "cheat" on the cost of some cards. Thanks to Victor Leader, you're able to maintain the battlefields and contest early, but also slowly build up a sum of tokens, before playing Imperial Decree, Grand Strategem or Thousand-Tailed Watcher or some combination to prevent our opponent from catching up. Cards I'm still playing around with are: Noxian Drummer, Consult the Past, Spectral Matron, Darius, Executioner & Harnessed Dragon
