🔹 Core Gameplan This deck is a spell-centric control/combo list that builds resources, draws heavily, and then wins by chaining extra turns with Time Warp. Your champion, Lux, Lady of Luminosity, rewards casting big spells (cost 5+) by drawing you cards, ensuring you never run out. 🔹 Early Game: Setup & Resource Generation Soaring Scout and Eager Apprentice give you board presence and early utility. Apprentice reduces spell costs, smoothing your curve toward big plays. Energy Conduit and Seal of Insight act as accelerants, letting you stockpile the power you’ll need for your heavy spellcasting later. Heimerdinger, Inventor is critical, he copies the abilities of your other legends, most importantly Lux, Crownguard, who taps to add extra runes for casting spells. Together they form your engine, producing tons of spell resources every turn. 🔹 Mid Game: Spell Loops & Card Advantage Once your resource engine is online, the deck floods the game with high-impact spells: Progress Day refills your hand with 4 cards. Promising Future cheats powerful plays directly from your deck. Unchecked Power and Final Spark control the battlefield, clearing boards or removing key enemy units. Every time you cast a 5+ cost spell, Lux, Lady of Luminosity draws you another card, snowballing your advantage. 🔹 Late Game: Closing with Extra Turns The win condition is Time Warp. Once you’ve generated enough resources, you can cast it to take an extra turn, often chaining multiple together thanks to your massive card draw. These back-to-back turns let you: Drop additional units like Lux, Illuminated or Ekko, Recurrent. Conquer or hold battlefields uncontested. Burn through your opponent’s defenses with repeated spell volleys. At this stage, you effectively lock the opponent out of responding, winning by pure inevitability. 🔹 Support & One-ofs Back-Alley Bar gives flexibility by reducing spell costs across the board. Obelisk of Power and Void Gate serve as utility/control options to adapt to different board states. Dr. Mundo, Expert adds resilience, letting you stick another durable legend to keep the engine online. ⚡ TL;DR This deck thrives by building a powerful spell-casting engine (Lux + Heimerdinger + Crownguard), converting that into huge card advantage, and then sealing the game with Time Warp extra turns. It’s less about overwhelming your opponent early and more about surviving, scaling, and then taking over the game in one decisive sequence. 🔹 Addendum This list was constructed quickly for casual play with friends and is far from optimized. It can theoretically pull off a one-turn kill, though that is difficult to execute consistently. I’m open to refining it further, for example, adding Thousand-Tailed Watcher would help secure battlefields in the late game and make combo finishes more reliable. If anyone has suggestions, I’m all ears!
