I got asked why I played both Darius and honestly I think both are great. Executioner does so well as our Chosen into any control deck like Kai'Sa, Ahri, Leona, ect as our units are harder to kill. Plus it's so over looked how he can enable our Hook plays to grab bigger units. Killing a token for a Draven is pretty fricking good. Trifarian is our go to Chosen against late game decks where we need a quick swing over a big unit. Kai'Sa: 2-0 Honestly this matchup isn't bad for us. Just don't over extend and keep up a constant board state with Matron plays, Hidden blade on our own units being targeted by Kai'Sa's spells is massive advantage. Pick Executioner for our Champion as he makes all of our units harder for Kai'Sa to kill. He wins this match up for us. Battlefields: go for Trifarian War Camp as all of our units here are much harder to kill with spell damage, and Vilemaw's Lair as Kai'Sa runs very few units and committing them to Lair hurts when we can dance around Lair using Baited Hook. Side: Machine Evangel and Brynhir Teemo: 2-1 Not gonna lie, this matchup can be scary and it's one that you really have to know what you can expect, as 1 wrong play can net your opponent such a massive advantage. Hidden is actually OP. I don't have much advice for Teemo yet as I don't have enough practice against it yet but from what I can tell, it's much better to try to hold against this deck early on to avoid them setting up. Late game though, don't over extend into a flying 20+ Might Mundo. SAVE removal for him or whatever gets Convergent Mutation. Battlefields: Vilemaw's Lair was massive in this matchup as it stopped most of their shenanigans. Side: Leona and Vi Miss Fortune (Dazzling): 2-0 Honestly no issue against Dazzling builds. We're at about 4 points already before they can start their game plan and by then our Dravens are just as big as their units. Battlefields: The Arena's Greatest is a free win, our Dravens are bigger, and we are only a few points away from winning when they can even start playing. Side: Salvages, Cull The Weak, Leona, Vi Master Yi: 1-1-1 Rough, I think Yi without Dazzling is actually the better build. It was a solid mid game and still brings a devastating late game. We don't get nearly as much time to push points before non-Dazzling Yi comes online. Try to rack up a few points and hold a battlefield to avoid dealing with their Legend ability. I want far more practice against non-dazzling Yi as somehow we tied against this deck 2 weeks in a row. Battlefields: Vilemaw's Lair seemed to be an MVP this night as this Yi was so scared to contest it, I set tokens on it a racked up 2 holds before he contested it with a sizable unit which he now couldn't move. We won that game, but surprisingly lost the game using The Arena's Greatest which I still think is our best Battlefield against Yi. Side: Leona, Cull The Weak, Vi Overall I am loving this deck and am happy with the changes we made since last week. I feel great into Kai'Sa, and still unsure about our Yi matchup. Most other decks though seem to really struggle against us. 10/10 fun and solid deck. Only changes I am thinking of at this point are trying to fit in 1-2 Back to Back. Card seems solid for this build, so we'll do some testing.
