**Decklist is no longer being updated**This deck capitalizes on Kai-Sa's legend ability and champion unit synergies to sling spells. Mono-Blue is a fun other way to play Kai'Sa- because we do not need any Red Rune Cards for the deck to work well -> increasing Energy efficiency and allowing us to play more spells or our bigger spells faster. Multiple draw engines in the deck keep our spells coming to our hands. Plays like an early-mid game control and mid-late game burst combo/aggro deck. *Deck is continually tested and updated. Game Plan ----- ** Gemcraft Seer can be very good to help set up the plan below ** Early Game : Stall & Spellsling - Conquer Early Points or Disrupt opponent plans using Sentry & Ravenbloom (don't try to hold too much yet). Try to get a couple points. - Having one Gemcraft Seer at base can help in the long run - Using Eager Apprentices to hold or conquer can also be a potential good move (at your judgement) allowing for cheaper spells to be played even faster. Or saving them for more stable board states later is also valid. - Set up Hiemerdingers in Base to tap for Power - you can use them to conquer but it can be nicer to keep them alive for later game if possible - Play Cheap Spells (Stupify, Get Excited, Void Seeker, Disintegrate) to get more card draw or disrupt opponent plans - and have them in discard. - Play Kai'Sa as soon as possible, but keep them at base, unless you know you can conquer and hold with them (use cleave & Sprite Call to help) - If you can , save 'Get Excited' to use in a pinch with our higher cost cards (Icatheon Rain, Wraith, Unchecked Power) if you end up drawing them a bit early Mid-Game - Try to get units set up at Base and draw as many cards as possible - The combination of Ahri + Kai'sa can be a powerful attacking force - If you can, set up Wraith at base for card draw and use ravenbloom, and sentry as chump units to contest battlefields and also draw cards - Keep 1-2 hiemerdingers & eager apprentices tapping for power - will be useful late game - Always try to keep 1 Kai'Sa alive, the more the merrier - try to always have 1 of these in hand: Cleave (Use for Kai'Sa Conquers), Icatheon Rain or Unchecked Power - If needed, use Icatheon Rain or Unchecked Power to break down opponent setup during mid game if they are snowballing and you cant use smaller spells/creatures to stop their plan. Late Game: - With Eager Apprentices & Hiemerdingers - we can potentially enter this 'late' game feel earlier than our opponents. - Now we make big moves to conquer, use the units, cards, and energy we have set up - Boardwipes are our friend in this stage (assuming we have a couple units in base/on the field), and we can use Ekko to potentially cheat them out. - Combo: Play cards as you would, then move an Ekko such that your Ekko might lose, and when they lose you get your energy back to play more spells or even play a board wipe (Unchecked Power or Icanthian Rain) (Hiemerdingers will be helpful here to tap for the power needed), - Combo: Multiple Kai'Sa Conquering - Gank or Conquer with multiple Kai'Sa (Preferably after Boardwipe or when you have something like Cleave that can assure chances) - then sling stupify or disintegrate for more card draw/unit destruction. Current Deck List Breakdown ---------- As cards are released, this deck only benefits from blue spell cards - especially those that can summon tokens/creatures, and would like to see some high-energy blue creature cards in the future that can be more singular board threats. Wincon / Combo Cards: - Kai'Sa + Ahri + Cleaves - Ekko (Has to die) + (Board Wipes: Icatheon Rain or Unchecked Power) - Gemcraft Seer's + Card Draw (Great for Deck Manipulation to optimize game plan) - Card Draw + Eager Apprentice's + Hiemerdinger's + Board Wipes/Removal (We can get this board wipes played earlier and more frequently, being huge disruptive tools) Early-Game Conquer/Hold Cards - Sentry - Ravenbloom + Spells - Eager Apprentice Energy/Power Ramp* Cards - Hiemerdinger - Eager Apprentice Draw / Power Util Cards: - Gemcraft Seer - Sentry - Stupify - Disintegrate - Consult the Past Removal/Stall Cards - Get Excited - Void Seeker - Singularity - Disintegrate - Icatheon Rain - Unchecked Power
