This is the deck I played at the first ever Riftbound Skirmish event. I went 2-1-1 in the swiss portion, won the semi-final, then unfortunately lost the final. R1: Win 2-1 vs Master Yi R2: Win 2-1 vs Lee Sin R3: Draw 1-1 vs Kai'Sa R4: Lose 0-2 vs Darius Semifinals: Win 2-0 vs Darius (same one as in R4) Final: Lose 0-2 vs Viktor (slightly more aggro version than mine) On the swiss portion I think I could have went 4-0, have I played better. Missplays being part of the game, I tried to refresh my mind and motivate myself that I could do better. I knew that based on my score, I am likely to get into the top 4 even though I lost the 4th round. And it happened, I was paired in the semifinals against the same Darius player that defeated me in the swiss portion. I managed to win 2-0 in what seems to me a good matchup for Viktor. In the final I got to face myself... :) Mirror match against Viktor, with what seemed to be a slightly more aggresive version than mine, better tuned for the mirror as well, as he was playing Evangel in the main deck. I prepared quite a lot for this event on MTG Arena, where I played more than 20 matches, but I think I only faced Viktor once or twice. This resulted in me feeling a bit lost in the matchup, not knowing exactly what should the plan of attack be, not really knowing what actually matters in the matchup. I had what seemed to me like good draws, but with every turn I fell more and more behind and I just don't know exactly how. Anyway, finishing second is always bittersweet, but it is a good result nonetheless and I am happy about it. I really want to add a 2nd Thousand-Tailed Watcher into the deck, but unfortunately I only had one copy for the event. Sideboard could be better. I added Wraith of Echoes for the Kai'Sa matchup, but only got to play it versus Viktor, where I actually just kept it in my hand, as tempo did not allow me to play it. Facebreaker felt very situational, I will probably remove it from the side. Also Retreat in the Main Deck felt underwhelming, it probably needs cutting.
