Malzahar effectively makes Viktor's legend ability into "pay 1 energy for two power" which helps cover the high power costs in the deck. Spectral Matron can reanimate Vanguard Captain, meaning for the low price of 4 energy and 2 power, you net 9 might and 4 bodies. Shen is a good combat trick that saves recruits at a base. A nice removal suite helps get rid of pesky value units and push for game. Still fine tuning, unsure of the sideboard. EDIT 11.26.25 Giving up on the mono yellow dream and added 3 mind runes to get access to blastcone fae, though I can also just hide it, and a Teemo because there's enough hidden cards to potentially get some damage out. Both can be hooked with a recruit. Since I want the deck to be heavy on units, I need my spells to be wincon quality cards or help me find a wincon. Grand Strategem ends games, and siphon power just feels too weak and can get defied. Focused the sideboard to adjust the deck to the opponent rather than put it cards to directly counter certain strategies, though I have 2 salvage for gear hate. The other includes are for more disruption or additional anthem effects. Will likely tinker more before I take it to my first skirmish this Saturday.
