MORE INFO: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ecNOlky142mNy2rjvrohqKwedVZ7Ff6d5jUTjGqq7fA/edit?usp=sharing General Strategy The core philosophy of ""Darius Legion"" is tempo. Your goal is to leverage cheap, efficient cards to enable the LEGION keyword, which unlocks devastatingly powerful effects far ahead of the standard mana curve. Playing a 0-cost Seal followed by a Noxus Hopeful creates a 4/4 body on turn 2. Following up with a Vanguard Captain creates three bodies for 3 energy. The deck aims to build an overwhelming board presence early, enhance it with anthem effects from Darius, Executioner and Captain Farron, and then close out the game with a massive attack or a timely Noxian Guillotine on a key blocker. Your Legend, Darius, Hand of Noxus, is the engine of this strategy, providing a crucial extra point of energy turn after turn as long as you sequence your plays correctly. Early Game (Turns 1-3) Your primary objective is to enable LEGION as quickly as possible. An ideal start involves playing a Seal of Rage or Seal of Unity on turn 1. On turn 2, you can play a second card, like Legion Rearguard, and then use your Legend's ability to get 1 energy back, potentially allowing a third play like Cleave. The goal is to flood the board. A turn 3 Vanguard Captain after playing a Seal is one of the deck's strongest plays, immediately putting three units onto the board. Use Void Seeker to handle any early threats from the opponent while developing your own board. Mid Game (Turns 4-6) This is where you press your advantage. You should be aiming to deploy your Champions. A LEGION-enabled Darius, Trifarian or Darius, Executioner creates immense pressure. Use your board of small units, now buffed by an anthem effect, to push for damage or make favorable trades. Cruel Patron is an excellent tempo play here, turning a disposable 1/1 Recruit token into a formidable 6/6 threat. Noxian Guillotine should be reserved for must-kill targets that would otherwise stop your assault, such as units with TANK or high Might. Always be looking for opportunities to play two cards in a turn to maximize the value from your Champion abilities and your Legend. Late Game (Turns 7+) If the game reaches this stage, your initial aggressive push may have been weathered. Your plan now shifts to finding a way to deal the final points of damage. This is where the single copy of Grand Strategem can be a game-winner, turning a modest board into a lethal force for a surprise victory. Alternatively, you can grind out value with repeated attacks from a protected Darius. Use Noxian Guillotine to clear the path for your biggest threat. If you run out of steam, remember that your Champions are powerful top-decks that can swing the game back in your favor immediately upon being played."
