Edit Log: 8/11/25 Out: - 2 Green seals - 3 Orbs In: - 3 Discipline - 2 Sprite Mother Guide: You always want to go second, as playing Ahri, Inquisitive turn one every game allows you to essentially have a 5 might unit and reclaim any battlefield currently under opponent control. Worst case scenario they play kai'sa and shoot Ahri and you dont have buffs or deny/they play Yi and you try and take and they have buffs/deny and you don't. However, its not reason not to choose to go second. Even if it's yi, you can just go to the other hold, chances are you are both playing proactive hold based battlefields anyway. If it's Kai'sa you need to mulligan for interaction, and move off of battlefields until you have interaction in order to maintain card advantage. Stacking multiple units on the same hold battlefield is almost 100% the play into more interactive matchups like these. Foxfire is secretly an insane card, especially when in tandem with ahri inquisitive/smoke screen. For volibear, you go under him and then interaction through his attempts at reclaiming. For sett, you sideboard in rune prison, and play towards interaction. For teemo/nocturne you hold both, force gusts, and win through better units. Ahri mirror is whoever gets to go second more. Lux is early aggression. Viktor is difficult because he goes so wide its nuts, especially if he buffs his units before going onto battlefield. In general its mostly blitzcrank hold value. The 12 damage to all units is key in game 2/3. Hook darius is a neat matchup, i bring in anti gear for those. Needs more testing but it feels favorable thanks to foxfire. Jinx is very difficult, entirely do to super mega death rocket just shooting literally all of our units. I bring zhonyas and pray. We run the +1 rune battlefield so that we can choose to go first into matchups we struggle with hold priority, like Master Yi.
