Double timewarp with power nexus bf requires 14 power to do but if double holding can make a player go from 0 to 8 points in one sequence. Cards are made for saccing and ramping til you get to 10 runes without any support, or 4 runes with ekko malz lux shenanigans. However many runes you have on the board, the difference between that and 14 is how many gold tokens you will need for the combo to pay for the power costs. You need to make sure you have 4 power available at the start of each time warp turn to pay for power nexus holds. Theoretical combo without ekko/malz/lux assuming double conquer: Combo T1 -Have at least 10 runes and at least 5 gold tokens up. -Move units in to double conquer. Points: 2 -Exhaust all runes, recycle 4 to play timewarp. Pass. (runes down to 6, gold 5) T2 -Hold. Points: 4 -Exhaust legend from hold to get 1 gold token -Exhaust 4 gold to pay for power nexus. Points: 5 -Channel 2 (runes to 8, gold 2) Renata secondary effect turns on making gold also use energy. -Exhaust remaining 8 runes, recycling 2 and the 2 gold tokens to get 10 energy and 4 power to play timewarp 2. (runes down to 6, gold 0) T3 -Hold. Points: 7 -Recycle 4 runes to pay power nexus. Points: 8 The inclusion of ekko malz lux can be used as energy cheat to start earlier, but if starting earlier you will need to have more gold tokens to cover the power costs. Breakpoint is 14 power.
