The primary goal is to control the board, exhaust the opponent's resources, and then deploy our main win condition, Kai'Sa, Evolutionary. Once she conquers a battlefield, her ability to recast spells from the trash for free generates overwhelming value that is nearly impossible for most decks to overcome. The deck leverages Kai'Sa's legend ability to ramp into powerful spells like Icathian Rain and Singularity ahead of curve, allowing for massive tempo swings. Mulligan Your ideal starting hand contains early-game interaction and setup pieces. Look for cards like Watchful Sentry, Ravenbloom Student, and Blastcone Fae to establish board presence. Void Seeker is a premium keep against any deck that plays units. Against slower matchups, keeping Eager Apprentice or Consult the Past is a strong play to start setting up your mid-game engine. Always mulligan expensive cards like Icathian Rain or Kai'Sa, Evolutionary unless the rest of your hand is exceptionally strong and has a clear path to casting them. Early Game (Turns 1-3) Your focus is survival and setup. Use Watchful Sentry and Lecturing Yordle to block and cycle through your deck. Use Stupefy and Blastcone Fae to manage early threats and gain favorable trades. Cast Ravenbloom Student if you have a clear path to casting spells on the following turns to make it a credible threat. Don't be afraid to trade your units to preserve your life total. Your real power comes later. Mid Game (Turns 4-6) This is where you start to turn the corner. Use Kai'Sa's legend ability to ramp into powerful spells. An Eager Apprentice on the board can lead to explosive turns, allowing you to cast Singularity or other key spells while still developing your board. Use Void Seeker and Falling Comet to remove any significant threats the opponent plays. Your goal is to stabilize the board completely, clear enemy units, and prepare to deploy your own win condition. Use Consult the Past to refill your hand and find the necessary pieces. Late Game (Turns 7+) This is your endgame. Your primary objective is to get Kai'Sa, Evolutionary onto a battlefield and conquer with her. Once her ability is active, the game should be yours. You can loop powerful spells like Void Seeker or Singularity from your graveyard for free, clearing any remaining threats. Icathian Rain becomes a finisher, either by clearing the last blockers or by targeting the opponent directly if they are low on life (though rules do not specify if players can be targeted, it can clear all units). Use Garbage Grabber to ensure your graveyard is stocked with the best spells for Kai'Sa to reuse. Close out the game with the overwhelming card advantage and board control you've established.
